Welcome to South Bristol Children’s Centres
We are South Bristol Children’s Centres and are here to support you. Please look at what we provide and the information on our web pages.
It could be that we might help you to find an answer or a service that you need right now, including:
- Information and Support for Parents and Carers, including return to work, training, personal support, access to food and cooking, and parenting support.
- Information and Support for children, including speech and language support, two-year Education, Healthy Start vouchers, activities for children including Forest school, group activities, and crafts (see our timetables for details).
Our Children’s Centres
At our five children’s centres, you can expect to receive a friendly and welcoming team. They will offer advice on your family’s individual needs and let you know what help and advice is available through our services.
Bristol City Council funds us, and we are part of both Early Education and Children and Families Services. We work in partnership with many different organisations and people to provide group and individual support in the communities in South Bristol.

Bristol Parent Carers offer a range of free engagement sessions designed to support parents and carers of children with SEND. Two engagement sessions about childcare are running at the start of February and we are looking for parents and carers to share their experiences of childcare in the city for children with disabilities and additional needs (aged 0-18).
We would welcome feedback about both pre-school and early years childcare, as well as childcare for school-aged children, such as after-school clubs and holiday provision. We would also like to hear from those who have used or applied for support through Bristol City Council's and BAND's Access to Childcare Fund (if applicable).
We really need your support - your voice can help improve childcare and make these services more accessible for the parents and carers who really need them.
Details of the events are attached to this email and the Eventbrite links to book are here:
