We are South Bristol Children’s Centres and are here to support you. Please look at what we provide and the information on our web pages.
It could be that we might help you to find an answer or a service that you need right now, including:
- Information and Support for Parents and Carers, including return to work, training, personal support, access to food and cooking, and parenting support.
- Information and Support for children, including speech and language support, two-year Education, Healthy Start vouchers, activities for children including Forest school, group activities, and crafts (see our timetables for details).
Our Children’s Centres
At our five children’s centres, you can expect to receive a friendly and welcoming team. They will offer advice on your family’s individual needs and let you know what help and advice is available through our services.
Bristol City Council funds us, and we are part of both Early Education and Children and Families Services. We work in partnership with many different organisations and people to provide group and individual support in the communities in South Bristol.

Thank you so much to all the families who joined our stay and play session! our little adventurers explored the theme "Learning about ourselves and the world around us" through our interactive role-play stations.
We enjoyed watching them step into new shoes from caring for others at the doctors station to "creating a person" and discovering what makes us completely unique. It was great to see their creativity, empathy, and social skills shine through as they explored the world around them.

Our recent stay and play session at Hartcliffe was filled with beautiful moments of discovery. Watching the children dive deep into exploration reminds us of the true Magic of early learning.
They weren't just playing-they were figuring out how the world works, testing new ideas, and completely losing themselves in the joy of the moment.
Every smile and concentrated look showed a mind at work.

Thankyou to everyone who attended our fun, interactive session this morning, We had an absolute blast exploring different roles within our community.
Our little attendees became vets (caring for animals) dentists (checking smiles) typed up important work in our mini office,
checking blood pressure at our doctors station.
Some of us even headed outside into the beautiful sunshine, for lots of splashing in the water play stations to keep us cool.
